This was the first test I took and it offered me some unique challenges. Out of all the tests this one required the most rote memorization. As this is not my best skill, this test presented a good warm up for the rest. It is also the most theoretical in nature and thus a bit more removed from the day to day life I lead as a network administrator. However,
this test provided a solid grounding and a quick review of many of the other
topics which would later be covered in more detailed.
So far my lowest score. Being adaptive it is quite hard to determine the possible score and those for me to know how well I did with this one. It was my quickest and shortest test .. It took me twelve minutes to finish fifteen questions. I considered it to be a very straight forward test but I was a little disconcerted when I realized I could not go back and review my answers.
This test proved just the opposite of the workstation. Providing me with my top score to date. It was a standard and long test for me taking about 35 minutes to complete. This test helped me realize that even when I have the opportunity to review my answers I never go back and change them. The one question I think I go wrong I agonized over for quite a while and finally made the choice to choose less answers than more. the question came down to a matter of wording and I went the wrong way.
Back to the adaptive model with a quick test, 25 questions. What scared me about this one was that I started off with some good answers and quickly got caught in some rather specific nuance questions. It reminded me that on the next test it might be better to answer one of the early questions wrong.
This test surprised me because it was neither adaptive nor standard with 35 questions which were review able but also variably rated. The most annoying aspect of this was the statement before the test that some questions might not have any value. This test caused me the most anxiety while studying but proved to be one of the easier test to take. Well that is after driving 5 hours to take a 3o minute test due to problems at Sylvan, but that's another long story.
